Nicholas Teresko – Ski Director, Cockaigne Resort

Nick grew up on the formidable slopes of Boston Mills and Brandywine, near Cleveland Ohio, beginning his ski career as an instructor. There he taught many people how to ski, made friends, and changed the course of his life forever. In that time Nick did receive his Bachelor of Science in Education at Kent State University and represented them by racing all four years on their collegiate ski and snowboard team. Since then Nick’s life has always gone downhill, he took a job at Deer Valley in the heart of Park City, Utah a place he called home for six years. During his time in Utah Nick taught Preschool, he ensured each one of his 15 students were set up for success by implementing an in-house ski program that took advantage of the “under 5 skis free” at Park City Mountain Resort and created a crew of 15 ripping skiers. Following that, Nick worked in the mental health industry and healed many minds and souls with the calming effects of great instruction, coupled with the thrill of skiing and snowboarding. In addition to cultivating passions for skiing and snowboarding Nick also introduced at risk youth to rock climbing, white water kayaking, and mountain biking, with this diverse background Nick is anxious to create a four seasons asset for the Western New York region. Nick brings about a sense of passion that will transcend the boundaries of skiing and Make Cockaigne LEGENDARY once again. He will fit right in with the Cockaigne Community so please make him welcome despite his weirdness we’ll all come to love! Nick cannot wait to make some turns out on the slopes with You!
