What’s new at Cockaigne?

We have a brand new 13,000 square foot lodge which sits in a new location that is at the bottom of Macaroon. The lodge was moved from the original site due to spacing needs (new lodge is about 4x bigger than the old one) and ease of access (new location provides better access for beginners to get to the learning area).

We also have a state-of-the-art 3,000 square foot outdoor stage that sits right next to the lodge.  It will be the perfect location to enjoy concerts and so much more!

What is new on the hill at Cockaigne?

We’ve added a 10-acre terrain park over on the Crackerjack slope by cutting down trees and doubling the width of the slope! The Terrain Park will have many features and will be a great ride for all age groups.

We’ve also updated all the lifts and repainted the chairs.

We’ve added a brand new 10-lane tubing hill!

We’ve added over 8,000 feet of new snowmaking pipe and purchased 12 new snow guns.

There are more improvements ahead so stay tuned!

Is the hill kid-friendly?

We are proud to say that our resort is very friendly to kids and beginners. We have great slopes and trails to learn how to ski/snowboard on and we offer an excellent beginners’ area as well. We have a great ski school that offers lessons for people of all ages. We also have intermediate and expert trails/slopes if you want the higher-level practice!

What type of restaurant/food is there in the lodge?

We are happy to offer two dining experiences to guests. We have the Cockaigne Pub and the Cockaigne Grille.

Inside the Pub we offer sit down dining with an classic American and pub style menu. We aim to serve delicious food that taste like home and warms you up even on the coldest of days. Inside the Pub you will also find our new bar.

The Cockaigne Grille allows guests who are in search of a bite to eat to quickly grab their favorite options and sit down to enjoy. The Grille is ideal if you are coming in from the ski slopes or snowmobiling trails and want a quick cappuccino or lunch in order to get right back out riding.

What is the new stage going to be used for?

We hope that our brand-new professional stage will host some of the top artists in the country! We’re excited to grow as a music venue during the summers to help keep us busy and open! The stage is set at the bottom of a slope and the audience will watch shows from the slope where there won’t be a bad view in the house, thanks to the incline of the hill!
