CHERRY CREEK — From ashes, the Cockaigne Resort is set to soon reopen after being rebuilt and reborn. In 2011, a fire that could reportedly be seen from 5 miles away burned the original lodge at what was then known as the Cockaigne Ski Resort. Now, almost seven years later, a 10,000 square-foot lodge, about two thirds larger than the original one, is being constructed and will open in September.

Cherry Creek, NY – Cockaigne Resort – September 17, 2018:

Cockaigne Resort, LLC today announces the resignation of Adam Pirtz as General Manager effective immediately. Adam has made the decision to pursue other opportunities and no longer has any affiliation with any Cockaigne companies. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Cockaigne Resort is located in Chautauqua County, NY and after a 2011 fire shutdown operations; is currently rebuilding under new management.
